(Quang Binh Portal) - Standing Deputy Prime Minister Pham Binh Minh has just signed Decision 1831/QD-TTg on promulgating the national list of projects calling for foreign investment in the 2021-2025 period.

Accordingly, 157 projects are calling for foreign investment with a total capital of 71 billion USD for the period 2021-2025 belonging to 09 fields: transport infrastructure; infrastructure of industrial parks and economic zones; energy infrastructure; information technology infrastructure; system of waste and wastewater treatment; education and health infrastructure; culture, sport and tourism infrastructure; agriculture, forestry and fishery; manufacturing and service fields.

Particularly, Quang Binh province has 01 project, which is: construction and trading of technical infrastructure for Hon La II industrial park (Quang Trach district) to invest in completing industrial park infrastructure to meet demand of investors such as mechanical engineering industry; processing agricultural, forestry, fishery and food products; production of consumer goods, textiles, leather shoes... The project has a scale of 180 hectare; 100% foreign investment or joint venture capital.

The Ministry of Planning and Investment is the agency assigned to chair, guide and inspect the implementation of the decision; coordinate with ministries, branches and localities in building detailed content of project; simultaneously organize propaganda and popularization of the list; summarize to report to the Prime Minister on the promotion of projects belonging to list; review, complement or adjust the list following the actual situation in each period; expenses of the activities are carried out in accordance with regulations.
